🌿Meadow Tea Lemonade Concentrate
This is the recipe for our family’s favorite summertime drink!
This recipe to make a meadow tea concentrate is my favorite way to use up all the summertime abundance of mint leaves! My family loves to drink this tea year round and we do because it is so easy to freeze!
🛒 Ingredient List
- Here’s what you’ll need
- 3 cups sugar
- 4.5 cups water
- 2 cups of fresh picked/washed mint leaves
- 2 12oz frozen lemonade concentrate (undiluted)
- 1 12oz frozen orange juice concentrate (undiluted)
🥄 Recipe Instructions
- Pick your mint leaves from stems and rinse.
- Bring your sugar and water to a boil. Boil for 5 mins.
- Add the mint leaves, and frozen concentrates. Remove from heat.
- Cover and let stand for at least 1 hr.
🌿Notes from Bethany
- When you are ready to serve, mix 1 part concentrate and 3 parts water.
- Strain the mint leaves before freezing/serving.
- This recipe makes a concentrate that you can easily freeze. Save up your old plastic containers and start putting some back for the cold dreary months when you’re dreaming of summer!
